Mila is a darling 2 year old Hound mix who came into our care as an owner surrender. She has proven to be a truly wonderful girl, incredibly friendly with all people, dogs and cats she has met. 

As a young Hound mix, Mila is a busy girl who needs a fair amount of daily exercise. She loves to go for walks and has perfect leash manners, walking right beside you, happy as could be. She is also an ideal jogging partner, matching your pace and happy to see all the sights. She also greatly enjoys exploring in the yard and no scent is missed by her superior sniffing skills. Squirrels look out when Mila is on the case! She absolutely requires a fenced yard, apartments or condos are not suitable for this gal. As you can see by her video, Mila is great with and has no issues of any kind with other dogs, or cats for that matter. She would love to join a family with another playful dog but would also be fine as an only dog.

In the house, Mila is pretty close to perfect. She is fairly quiet, doesn't get into anything she's not supposed to and is happy to nap on her dog bed, or a couch if she were allowed. She loves to give kisses and welcomes any opportunity to snuggle in close to her people. Once she's had her fill of outdoor time, Mila occupies herself quietly with her toys or by chewing on a bone. Her crate training is going very well, she can often be found in her crate with the door open. What a good girl! She knows basic obedience and is fully house trained.

All in all, Mila is a gem. She's young, full of love and ready to join a family that is as amazing as she is. 

Mila is spayed, up to date with her vaccines, heartworm tested negative, microchipped and been dewormed.  She also comes with a certificate for one month of free pet insurance.
